I tried to do my mandatory ethics training yesterday and it was painfully slow. I quit after it didn’t register that I had completed the Introduction, which took over an hour of waiting for page loads. This morning, I received the following e-mail:
Thank you for beginning your ethics training on the first day of our assigned training window. I would like to apologize for the experience you endured yesterday. The Inspector General’s (IG) program was not functioning properly. The IG and their vendor indicated late yesterday that, they had identified the capacity problem and will be working today and over the weekend to resolve these technical issues. I would encourage you to log back into the program early next week to fulfill your training requirement. When you log back in to complete the training, you will need to use the log-in id provided and the new password you created when beginning the training.
I applaud you for your persistence and again apologize for the delays experienced during your use of the Inspector General’s online training program.
